Katsoin tuon mania-tv:n haastattelun ja siellä Tori puhui Pip-konserttien teemoista. Pip ei ole väkivaltainen, vaan "confrontational" eli ottaa yhteen kussakin konsertissa jostain teemasta, kuten esimerkiksi naisten tai lasten pahoinpitelystä.
Mieleen tuli tietysti heti Boston 2 & MAAG, mutta myös Provinssin konsertti. Ennen konserttia Rumban haastattelussa Tori mainitsi pitävänsä pedofiili- ja seksiorjarenkaita kammottavimpana asiana maailmassa. Tori esitti konsertissa myös Pancaken, jonka yksi tulkinta on, että se liittyy katolisen kirkon pedofiiliskandaleihin (olikohan Torin isä se, joka näin oli sanonut jossain). Olen jo joskus aikaisemmin miettinyt, olisiko näiden asioiden välillä joku yhteys, eli joko haastattelussa olisi syntynyt ajatus esittää Pancake Provinssissa tai sitten asia oli pyörinyt jo aikaisemmin Torin päässä ja tuli sitten esille myös haastattelussa. Tuossa mania-tv:n haastattelussa Tori kertoo myös kirjoittavansa päivän setti-listan aika myöhään ennen konserttia.

It�s a beautiful evening here on the water in Toronto and the boys and me are enjoying the view from our backstage balcony overlooking the marina. Water taxis and geese pass us by as the sun casts a quiet and serene gold light across the water. Just down the hall, we can hear Tori and Natashya having private mummy and daughter time, singing songs from Cindarella. In a little while, Tori and her assistant join us outside to create tonight�s set list. Tori pulls up a chair, pen and paper in hand and starts to jot down her thoughts and ideas. She tells me that the thread running through each song tonight is a story of two women, representing two land masses, that are at odds with each other. We know our time is up when Ben stops playing and the sky is darkening. Tori gathers up her pages of notes and races back to her dressing room to get ready for the show.
