Hmm, muistaakseni Porin haastattelussa Tori puhui jotain, että uusi levy olisi tulossa vasta musikaalin jälkeen? Olisiko tässä sitten kyse jostain muusta projektista, josta Tori myös siinä haastattelussa mainitsi?

Ok, on aika ottaa esille taas tämä aihe kun tuntuu alkavan noita huhuja ja ns tietoja vuotaa.. Ihan ensin pitää muistella sitä miten Tori silloin joskus mainitsi salaisesta projektista joka on jotain ihan uutta jollaista on koskaan tehnyt.. tuohon vielä kun lisää kaikki kerrat jolloin Tori on Metropole orkesterin kanssa aikaa viettänyt ja luultavasti tuota projektia valmistanut ja nyt sitten vielä varmistunut Viennan konsertti lokakuussa..noh.. tässä eka vinkki:

We got chatting over tea after rehearsal tonight and a few little details surfaced about the Tori/Metropole project. Apparently Tori's new release is all based on the Classical music of fellow child prodigy, who often had financial worries throughout his life because he didn't make enough money from his music: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Apparently she's written lyrics for the melodies in Mozart piano works, and that's what the new record is - hence debuting the tour in Vienna.

So I called my friend who works for a magazine in London who usually does articles on Tori when she promotes and he had lots of information. First, the album is called, “Climacteric”. They are still trying to decide which song will be the first single. The choices are between songs called, “Ember Flashes” and “Stitched Marsupial”.

The cover was described to be a symbol of how women are shackled by their womb and how their identity is dictated by the status of their uterus. It is a commentary on how society views the feminine and fertility.

So as far as the track list, here is what he said they gave him.

Tämä oli aika hauska, luin sitä tosissani aina Der Hölle Rache -kohtaan, jossa ajattelin ettei voi pitää paikkaansa, ei Tori voi mitenkään laulaa sitä kuin oopperassa. Vaikka toisaalta, Tori luultavasti laulaisi sen paremmin kuin tämä rouva:
